Mariama & Randall - A Fall Wedding in a Tropical Greenhouse

I was so excited when Mariama and Randall contacted me to photograph their small wedding in 2021. Now this was the second year of the pandemic, so folks were still having smaller weddings. This was to be an intimate ceremony with a few images afterwards inside the Frederik Meijer Gardens greenhouse. They had their parents surrounding them, their aunt officiating and a laptop set up so that family and friends who could not attend would be able to watch the wedding and chat afterwards.

There were many tears and laughter during the vows. It was really sweet and lovely. The love these two have for each other was beautiful. After the ceremony was finished, along and some catching up with their remote loved ones, we did a few family photos, followed by couples portraits around the gorgeous tropical greenhouse. What a stunning setting to celebrate love and say “I do.” It was perfect.
