I was super excited when I was asked to do Oaks' one year pictures. His mom said she didn't want to do a cake smash because everyone does them and I couldn't agree more. I asked what his favorite food was and she said pickles. So I suggested that we do something a bit different and try a pickle smash session. This is what we came up with. Mom and Dad provided all of the props. I simply brought my late Grandmother's quilt and my equipment.

Of course we wanted to include big brother Gage in some photos too.

I had big brother Gage standing behind me during a majority of this session. He was so great at making Oaks laugh like this. I couldn't have done it without him. Thanks buddy.

I really don't think it could get any cuter than this right here.

The guys in this family sure love their pickles!
